Two of Foremark Legal's co-founders met while training in the Fire Department. One went to Law School. The other went on to build consumer companies backed by Sequoia India and Lightspeed. The third earned a PhD in Machine Learning.

A decade later, this unique team came together to bring consumer, legal and the AI skillset to make consumer legal services better with Foremark Legal.

What we learnt was that, as a firefighter, as in law, you never arrive before the chaos – you arrive into it. The scene is chaotic, people are scared, and there is pressure to act when you have the least clarity you have ever had.

You rely on a fixed point – something steady you can orient yourself around before you drift off-course. In navigation, that is called a Foremark.

When people enter the legal system, it is easy to make the wrong call – the wrong attorney, the wrong timeline, the wrong decision about whether to act at all. Foremark Legal was built to be that fixed point.
