We acquire, underwrite, and handle consumer legal issues on a shared platform that combines automated intake, a legal underwriting engine, and a delivery organization built on leverage. Each practice area operates as a pod, which is a self-contained business unit with its own funnel, team, and P&L.

We are hiring a selection of General Managers who will own and launch Foremark's next few Pods.

What you own

• P&L ownership for the practice area, including case economics, and internal and external stakeholder management

• The pod team, from client acquisition, to intake underwriting & ops, to internal / external attorney partnerships

• The practice-area thesis, meaning which claims we take, which we decline, and how the scoring model should be tuned for this area

What you inherit

You are not starting from zero. The platform provides the client acquisition engine, data infrastructure, the intake and scoring engine, engineering and legal resources. Your job is to take a proven spine into a new market, not to rebuild it.

Who you are

• Ex-founder, preferably outside law. You know what it means to own a number with nobody above you to escalate to.

• Ex-operator, you have managed significant responsibilities without the title, and are looking to prove it with a P&L role.

• A JD is welcome but not required. We are more inclined to strong operators without one. If you have practiced, we would rather it was briefly.

• You are able to form a direction with minimal guidance, manage upwards, and execute with initiative in regulated industries.

• You can hire, manage, and fire.
